MuIS, or the museum information system, is a web-based work environment for managing museum collections and keeping records on state assets.
The Museum Information System (MuIS) serves as a centralized platform for managing and accessing museum collections across Estonia. The system contains records for more than 4 million museum objects, including over 2.4 million items with associated digital images. MuIS enables users to efficiently search, manage, and perform collection-related operations across all museums connected to the platform, supporting both collection management and public access to cultural heritage.

Please note that the work presented on this page consists of exploratory design concepts and was never released or implemented. The designs were created as part of a conceptual exercise to explore potential directions for a future museum user experience and visual identity.
This project provided an opportunity to experiment with new ideas and push creative boundaries. Drawing inspiration from contemporary art and modern museum experiences, I explored alternative visual approaches, including abstract design elements, a conceptual logo, and a refined visual language. The primary goal was to create an intuitive and visually engaging experience with a clear user flow, balancing aesthetics with usability. Through the use of a minimalist design approach, thoughtful typography, and a soft color palette, the concepts aimed to create a calm, immersive, and accessible digital experience.
