Kråke Digital
The story behind Kråke Digital is a deeply personal one. Founded by me in 2021, Kråke Digital began as a creative agency focused on videography, branding, and graphic design. What started with filming sports events soon evolved into a broader creative practice, helping businesses and organizations tell their stories through impactful visual content and design.
The name Kråke comes from the Norwegian word for “crow,” a symbol that has a special connection to my family. For many years, friends of my parents jokingly referred to our surname, Vorna, as “the crows,” turning the bird into an unofficial family nickname. While developing the agency’s identity, I knew I wanted the crow to play a central role in the logo. However, the early concepts felt incomplete. Looking for inspiration, I explored how the word “crow” was translated into different languages and was immediately drawn to the Norwegian spelling, particularly the unique “å” character. The small circle above the letter became a defining visual element of the brand. In the logo system, the circle functions as both a standalone brand mark and a typographic detail—appearing independently when the symbol is used on its own and returning above the “å” whenever the full wordmark is displayed.
The crow itself carries another personal story. If you look closely, you’ll notice it is wearing boots. This detail originates from my teenage years, when I spent three summers working for a small family business in my hometown that repaired and refurbished Estonian military equipment. Thousands of pairs of boots, backpacks, and vests passed through our hands each season. The work was physically demanding, but it taught me discipline, attention to detail, and the value of contributing to something larger than yourself. The boots became a tribute to those formative years and a reminder of the hard work that helped shape my professional journey.
Today, Kråke Digital continues to operate as an active creative agency, producing memorable branding, design, and video projects for clients. More than just a company name or logo, the brand represents a collection of personal experiences, values, and stories that have influenced both my creative approach and the work I deliver.
