Estonian Handball Association
Handball has been a defining part of my life for over two decades. Before stepping behind the camera, I spent 10 years playing as a centre back for HC Kehra, developing a deep understanding of the game, its culture, and the emotions that surround it. That background has become one of my greatest strengths as a sports videographer, allowing me to anticipate key moments, understand player dynamics, and capture the intensity of the sport from a unique perspective.
When I first began my journey in videography, handball was the very first sport I filmed. Over the years, I have built a strong partnership with the Estonian Handball Association, who have placed a great deal of trust in my creative vision. This freedom has allowed me to experiment with unconventional filming techniques and storytelling approaches, creating content that goes beyond traditional sports coverage and focuses on making the viewer feel part of the action.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with some of Estonia’s top handball clubs as well as the Estonian national team. I currently serve as the personal videographer for Mistra, a highly competitive team that consistently achieves podium finishes both in Estonia and across the Baltic region. My work ranges from match highlights and promotional content to behind-the-scenes documentaries that showcase the personalities, dedication, and stories behind the athletes.
One of the most rewarding experiences has been travelling with the Estonian national team, documenting their journey through exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, match coverage, and player-focused storytelling. The content I produce spans both long-form YouTube documentaries and short-form social media content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Several of these videos have reached millions of viewers worldwide, helping to bring greater visibility to Estonian handball and connect the sport with a wider audience.
What makes this work truly special is the relationships built along the way. Having known many of the players for years, the environment feels less like a professional assignment and more like being part of a close-knit community. This connection translates directly into the content, allowing me to capture authentic moments and tell stories that resonate with both players and fans. For me, handball videography is more than a profession—it is the perfect combination of lifelong passion and creative storytelling.

EHF Champions League – GOG Håndbold vs Aalborg Håndbold
One of the most memorable milestones in my videography journey was the opportunity to film an EHF Champions League match—the highest level of club handball in the world—between GOG Håndbold and Aalborg Håndbold at Jyske Bank Arena. It was a truly surreal experience. As someone who grew up playing and watching handball, I spent countless hours dreaming about the sport’s biggest stages. Standing courtside with a camera, documenting world-class athletes competing at the very highest level, was a moment that felt almost unreal. The atmosphere, intensity, and emotion inside the arena were unlike anything I had experienced before. What began as a childhood passion had come full circle, transforming from a dream into a professional opportunity. The trip to Denmark and the chance to film elite-level handball remains one of the most rewarding and inspiring experiences of my career.
